As a mix engineer, from time to time (a LOT of the time) you may get tracks that are sub-par or not of the face-melting caliber.  You want your track to slam, but the quality just isn’t up to snuff.  Dealing with weak guitars can be especially devastating to your mix.  Checka-checka-check out my video discussing how to un-suck these guitars:
